Two Spoons

Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and healing to the bones. Prov 16:24

Our curriculum gives us a proverb to learn weekly. Today, it suggested introducing this verse with two spoons - one full of garbage, and one with honey, and talk about whether our words are like garbage or like honey. I gave the kids little tastes of honey while telling them things I love about them. I'm hoping this illustration is memorable. I think it will be for me!
