Even Though We're White
His mama said that even though these foster parents were white, that they might do OK taking care of him.
Yes Ma'am, even though we're white, we can take care of your child.
Even though we're white, we'll wake him up with a kiss.
Even though we're white, we'll drop him at preschool and pray he has a good day.
Even though we're white, our kids will count the hours until we can pick him up.
Even though we're white, we will care that he eats his dinner, and bathe him before bed.
Even though we're white, we'll read him some books and pray with him before saying goodnight.
And even though we're white, we will love on your little boy while you cannot.
