Early Morning Song

Woke up to Caden singing in the bathroom, "Its a quarter after one, I'm all alone, and I need you now". Chuckled to myself about this, and then after listening for about 10 minutes, I realized he was now singing, "Its a quarter after one, I'm all alone, and I need toilet paper". No, I'm not necessarily proud that he knows this song, but its funny.

Birthday Boy

Mr Eight Years Old, and on moving day! A couple gifts before things get going...take note of the shirt! 

No car seat!  He thinks I'm taking a picture of the leapster I guess. Going to drop the kids off at Grammy and Poppy's house, then heading to closing.

And... a few days later, when we're in the house and ready to celebrate, we had our birthday party.  Green Eggs (goldenrod) and Ham! 

Caden requested Goldenrod Eggs last year too!  Since it wasn't just us, I added in some other food. :)

A 3rd Parent

As I was tucking Caden in bed tonight, he told me he is concerned about Alyssa.  "Playing on the computer is becoming an idol for her. I don't think you should let her do that as much".

Good thing I have him.
