We were amazed at this tree, seeming to grow right out of the rock!
Our hike was a bit treacherous because of all the water. Grandpa is helping Alyssa across a stream!

Lots of Mountain Laurel. We were told that it is more leggy than Rhododendron. Otherwise very similar looking.
