Last week, we went to our friend's house to attend a carnival with them that was taking place in the parking lot right next to their home. I walked around to the back yard to fetch the kids, hop the fence and start the fun.
What I saw, to my horror, was Alyssa, on the top of their play set, shorts around her ankles bending over, bare bottoms up to the crowd. Apparently there was an underwear issue, which we fixed and then went to the fair.
But I did think how ironic it is, that sometimes she'll yell to Caden that she needs privacy, but the hundreds of strangers were not a problem. I guess discretion comes in waves.

Deep Thoughts by Caden Davis
Adoption is just telling someone you want a baby...except a little more stressful.
Its sure no fun to go to work - I can tell you that much.
I'd like a little brother, but not another little sister - I already have one to take care of.
Life's best friends are the ones you've had since you were babies.
Teenagers are crazy.
