Restaurant in Beijing

Our very nice waitress - assigned to us because she spoke a bit of English.

Flower petal salad... Carnations, cilantro, and I can't remember the other kinds of flowers. Definitely the prettiest salad I've ever eaten. And it was pretty good.

This bird has been carved out of a carrot - yes, a large one. They have 40 varieties of carrots here. This is pork atop little nests made of potato. Very good.

Once again, I'm blending.

Madelyn loves the flower petal salad.

Dancers

A little Chinese opera...tough on the ears.
